Rudder next than wings.
Not a render but a real boat! Us computer slobs have to get our hands dirty in the workshop.
Phil Stevenson's ideas and activities in the field of Moth Class sailing. Lets keep the ideas rolling in the most highly developed small boat for the last 75 years.

Looking good!
It's hard to see, but is your deck inverted?
My boat has an inverted V for the deck, I'm hopping it will be a good push bar.
What's your reasoning for having the high point in the middle?
See you next year.
Gui, The deck is the HT original inverted with the centreline at about the same level. The wings and tranpoline will be elevated like Chainsaw, + Greg K in 2000 and Hobie Alter have done before.
Its very comfortable and only needs a couple of sewn in pool noodles for push bars.
All moths might be like this in a few years (to quote Luka from a few years back when I did Chainsaw)
Picks are on the Pictures (flika) link on right of page.
Ok, just saw the other pics. Why push from a soft noodle when you could push from a hard floor?
Anyways, looking forward to make some progress on my own boat and see how screwy my ideas are!
Alternatively why bash your knees agains a hard gunwale when you can have a soft noodle?
Mainly windage reduction.
